Monday Made-It

Today I am linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for a Monday Made It - October.

My first Monday Made It, I didn't make my self.  I downloaded for free, printed, cut, laminated, cut, applied magnets to back, and put on my board as a center.

This can be found in Make Take Teach's TPT store for free.  If you download it, please be sure to leave feedback.  This was perfect practice for some of my dyslexic kids that are having trouble with consonant digraphs.

My Monday Made it #2
I created this Magnetic Letter R-Controlled Vowel Task Card set and blogged about it here.  It can be found in my TPT store here.  I have some dyslexic kids that were also having trouble with r-controlled vowels.

This is my precious niece.  She is also dyslexic, so I work with her after school.
You get two sets in the download.  One set has QR codes for self-check.  The other set does not contain QR codes codes.

My third Monday Made It was totally copied from another blog.  I can't remember where I saw it.  If you know the source of this activity, please leave me a comment so I can give credit where credit is due.  I took the back side of my cookie sheets and added masking tape.  I wrote word families on the tape.  The students had lots of fun today making real words and nonsense words with these.

My last Monday Made It is something that I created for my dyslexic students also.  These sentences contain lots of short vowel words and words with blends and digraphs.  Some of them were having trouble with the words were, we're, and where.  I made this freebie for them and plan to blog about it on Thursday.  You will be able to grab it in my store then.  Make sure to follow my TPT store to receive updates when I add new freebies and items for sale.

Please leave feedback.  I encourage constructive criticism.  I believe we can all learn from each other.  I love reading lots of blogs and sharing great ideas.

Magnetic Letter R-Controlled Vowel Task Cards

Happy Sunday!  I only have a few minutes to tell you quickly about a new product that I have added to my TPT store.

I created these for my dyslexic students who are having trouble with the /er/ sound.  While I was creating I went ahead and made task cards for /er/, /ar/, and /or/.

I included a set with QR codes for self-checking and a set without QR codes.

You can click on any of the pictures above to find them in my TPT store.  I am off to take some chocolate chip cookies out of the oven and spend time with my son.
